Mastercard selfie payment ID check

At MWC 2016 in Barcelona, the specialized company of the payment system by credit card, MasterCard, has announced a new technology of online payments that accept selfies as an alternative way to verify the ID.

Beside selfie ID verification, MasterCard has also confirmed that it accepts the fingerprints when verifying IDs.

MasterCard is experimenting this new technology in Netherlands, where over 90 percent of them expressed their satisfaction and their willingness to use it, and it will launch this technology this summer to include 14 countries across the world, especially North America (United States and Canada) and other European countries.
